I managed to do some work (a plan for a course), but the main occupation here is the laziness and the reading in front of the fireplace …

I’m reading “History of medieval Bulgaria” by Bozhilov and Gyuzelev, looks nicely written – looks like I’ll spend a of time in reading historical books in the next few months. I find the historians’ work somewhat familiar, especially the moment of trying to connect the information from some documents into a final picture…

I also stumbled at “The boomerang of the evil” by Volen Siderov (which my uncle has bough by mistake), and while reading, kept wondering how is this guy believing himself. The book has everything needed for a conspiracy theory – jews, masons, americans, satanists, etc. And even stranger was that he kept praising the eastern orthodox church and its ideas. Damn these fanatics and demagogs…
(for an exercise I started thinking – what if he’s right? Then I did some analysis on his ideas, thought the Occam’s razor, and that he doesn’t have any evidence (and no bibliography, too), and I’m thinking that hes’ just wrong (not to take into consideration that he’s laughable most of the time))
(and even if he’s right, he’s an agent of those against whom he’s writing, e.g. creates a noise, and nobody believes his theories. Standard dysinformational strategy.)

Yesterday I finished reading Nikolay Genchev’s memories, the book turned out to be pretty useful and well written, I’ll send a copy to my father.
