Now compiz and Xgl work pretty well (I fixed some bugs, now what’s left is to add the ability to have ctrl-alt-number to switch to a workspace). I have now to fix the sutuation so just the X-related stuff gets downloaded from Ubuntu, and all the rest is from debian unstable. I’m very happy that I broke my current work work environment, the new one is better.
\n(too bad that the packaged compiz is just 0.0.2, and there are newer versions, but it’s compilation requires some magic)<\/p>\n
