Yes, but really no, if you\u2019re using GNU sed which comes with Debian stable, in which this option (\/d) is missing &#8211; not implemented, and not even mentioned in the man page, so this is not really doable. And I want to have one single sed script which does something and if there\u2019s error to be able to see it right away, not to have to do magic through 5 files, etc\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Interesting that in *BSD there\u2019s no such problem, and with sed 4.0.9 in other distributions.
