I have the feeling that Saturday and Sunday I’m a different man. Through the week my head is full with work-related stuff – architecture\/topolgy (hm, probably both terms are wrong for this case) of a few systems, addresses, things to do, problems pending, etc., and when Saturday comes and I decide to write something about that, I see only fog in my head.
\n(and this Saturday it was worse, got woken up in great haste to attend the yearly meeting of OPF, because I had forgotten about it (and Thursday I had specifically reminded myself)).<\/p>\n
So tomorrow I’ll wake up, make a (nasty, bitter, hot, soluble, a nasty emulation of) coffee and while bathing and travelling to the office I would have poured all the stuff in my head. I wonder if some day something would just break and I would get to work with an empty head and no idea where am I and who am I. The other way around – to just keep working through the weekend – I’ve already done, didn’t die from it :)<\/p>\n
In the last months my holidays are full with somewhat meaningless activities. I’m watching movies (found out that there were 10 new episodes of Robot chicken, saw Watchmen (they’ve done it well), A fish called Wanda (nice)) and I keep playing Dune2000 (I finished it with the Atreides, I’m nearing the end with the Harkonen). I’ve started watching Jekyll by Steven Moffat (at least the first episode is wonderful, let’s see what happens next), which is somewhat the reason for some of the above thoughts :). The pile of books just grows.
\n(the weekend is not useful for anything else anyway, every time I try something that requires more load, all the tiredness from the week falls on my head)<\/p>\n
