Excluding one drinking session Friday evening in the Chef’d oeuvre (where core-ix started ordering shots, which I was finishing as nobody else around was interested enough, the dark aftershock with absynth was interesting).

(next things are here to be a reminder in the future)

I must not start taking anti-convulsants. I must not stop them afterwards, and I must not get the idea at all :) It always goes the same way – first I’m calmer, no seizures, probably less pain from the neuralgia, etc., then at some point I start feeling too tired and see that I’m making some really stupid mistakes and my thinking has gone away (and, this last time as an extra I managed to get some swelling in the left shoulder joint because of the lack of pain). Then follows a (slow) stopping, then some mood swings (for example, I remember what enthusiasm feels like), a really good drinking session (because I haven’t had alcohol in a long time), some big seizures (as a side effect of the stopping, drinking and the excess enthusiasm) and I’m inclined to add “depression” to the list :)
(my tongue has almost healed)

And here’s the moment at which you understand how it’s better to fight some problems in the really hard way (with a lot of gnashing of teeth) instead of going for great solutions that are worse than the problem. Or, as Mashinev says “Better is an enemy of good”.

In the end of the month we’ll be celebrating again the day of the system administrator.
