Today we rearranged the rack in the project, the cables are now ok, and the ports are in the right order. It now can be entered in cabling arrangement contest :)<\/p>\n
We tested the trick with the routing protocol – and it didn’t work. After that I sat with tcpdump, listened on the interfaces, and came to the conclusion that the problem is in a totally different place… I can’t remember the last time I felt so stupid, I was so mad, that when I went to the anime meeting, I dunked a liter of beer in no time (not that it helped). Tomorrow I’ll be thinking about a solution, although it really looks like a dead end.<\/p>\n
And today we were supposed to attack Bobson’s library, but there wasn’t time, damn it….<\/p>\n
