by Vasil KolevThe morning passed in fighting with Invision and php, because of the last upgrade – turns out that there were a few more problems. Turned out that also the strlen function wasn’t working properly… I hate to fix something in a language that I don’t know. Especially if it’s php.
I made the last local test with ffmpeg, to make the live stuff viewable from windows, probably this Wednesday we’ll make the general test.
The weather today was great, at some point I thought of taking out my chair and laptop on the balcony, and lie in the sun. I got out for a walk (I had to send two books through snail mail – this sucks, should be more like email :) ), and went through Slavejkov, where Asen told me something really interesting – that the first Bulgarian print of “The lord of the light” by Roger Zelazny had the last chapter missing (and yes, the old book had a bizarre ending, just like the beginning). Because of this I got the new book, and I’ll be rereading it soon…
I’m getting pretty sure that I forget things too much, and if someone has ideas on was to solve/cure this, tell me :) Up until now I survive by keeping as little possible state as possible – e.g. by keeping logs, by answering mails and icq messages ASAP, etc, but that has it’s limitations.
(on, yes – Thursday, Bulgara, 3 ushi).
