I visited some really interesting lectures – an introduction to quantum cryptography (without some weird equations, I understood everything), a lecture on the use of PGP in business (I have to show it to the PKI people, there are a lot of interesting moments in it), and a lecture how we should get rid of Unix before 2038 and to replace it with a system based on one language that’s a derivative of LISP. The last one was really interesting, at the end we stayed for another half an hour to ask questions to the lecturer.

We had a pretty strange problem with the network – an overflow on one of the tables in the juniper – it was really weird, because some addresses had routing, others didn’t… I think that I’ve finally fixed the dhcp, there were some some problems with the load and the dhcp relay that we’re running.

And right now there’s a great storm coming, I wonder if I should bring my sleeping bag in the NOC…
The storm came, thankfully I’m in one of the bars.
