Today was the final fixing of the things, and everything worked perfectly – I like the systems that I’ve designed from the beginning :) If I’m in Sofia this Wednesday, I’ll go to the press-conference at Hilton to say two words on the great system that we’ve made :)

There are some nice flamewars about OpenFest, but there still isn’t anything that will stop us from making it reality :)

Last night after the concert I started thinking about the tolerance and the nationalism. I had listened to all kinds of crap targeted at supporting the racial hatred using all possible methods (“When we face Europe, our ass will be facing Turkey”, etc.), there was this ugly nationalistic feeling growing (ugly in the fascist sense, I love the country (and hate the state) ). There was a lot of stuff about Bulgaria on three seas, etc, that I became really sad that we have nothing to be proud of except our history and that’s the reason to cling so hard on it and are trying to blame everything ot the others. I really have no idea how some people can be so pathetic. I have no idea about them, but I’m proud to be Bulgarian without making excuses.
Turks, gypsies, americans, europeans, NATO, USSR – whom haven’t we blamed, and who haven’t we relied on fixing us, instead of doing something ourselves.
There’s not a lot that has to happen – even Hitler had come to rule with 30% at the elections, here Voled Siderov had 7%, but that probably won’t be a stopper… And knowing the rest of our politicians, maybe we deserve him.
(p.s. Episod relating this are real jerks, taking old poems by Botev, Vazov, etc., and putting some really stupid, simple and bad music on them, probably the poets are rolling in their graves)
