by Vasil KolevSome people asked me why haven’t I written anything in the last (4) days. I have my reasons, and I’ll describe them below (I just have to look up at some stuff, to put the pieces together).
The important piece of news (that you already know :) ) – Barovsky is free, and it’s possible (almost certain) that tomorrow he’ll be at the concert at Fans. I have no idea how are we going to fit in there, I just know that we’ll be recording :)

The battle with the bureaucracy went easy (e.g. I skipped doing half of the stuff), I mostly waited for a physical exam (in the children’s ward. I really feel like not having children.). Our accountancy really wanted the documents from the exam, because they get picked on a lot (last time the labour agency wanted to put in the rules for the office that everyone has to bathe at least two times a week). In the evening I was at OBB, where we celebrated the news about Barovsky and I met AvatarBG, who’s here for a few weeks… In the evening I was so tired that I just fell asleep, unable to write anything.
Thursday I was catching up with some work because I wasn’t at the office the previous day (and had to make up for the next day), with organising the moving of some machines (there were some development servers under the desks, after the movement it’s quieter in the office). I also used a lot the young people at the support, to fill up the documentation that I felt too lazy to do… Looking at the info, I went home at 23:00 (I remember playing table tennis with desync’s girlfriend, while he debugged something), and again felt powerless to write.
Friday I was at work until 16:00, to do some more stuff – got convinced again that the printers are some of the stupidest devices on this world – after which followed a search for a gift for Elen (two pairs of horns :) ), and the celebration of the birthday itself – a gathering of a lot of interesting people, we drank, spoke, etc… It was pretty merry, and it was pretty hard for me to leave at 11, not to fall asleep there… I went home, spoke a bit with desync, and again fell asleep.
Saturday morning it was noisy – desync’s daughter was visiting, and played with my mother and the people around, was loud, etc. (that’s a real little monster) while I was fixing a problem that had showed up (a dead backup machine). At some point I got up and went to do some work on another project (which I’ll have to finish Tuesday, because BTC hadn’t ran the line yet and there was no way to do the last stuff). I went home, the girlfriend came visiting, and all the ideas about creative work were put on hold…
(And last night chervarium again made beans. It was great, just a bit hot.)
Today afternoon around 16:00 I saw out the girlfriend and went to sleep. My mother asked me if I fought a dragon that I’m so tired (and I told her not to speak that way about the girl…). Then I again convinced myself how mad am I – had a dream about that when I changed the resolution of the laptop’s screen (now it’s 1400×1050) the video card was unable to display 24bit colour (which is totally wrong)…
I’ve probably missed some stuff, but that’s probably better :)
