(one posting will be too long for all this, so there’ll be another one)

I haven’t written anything in the last weeks, because I lacked time… The week before I didn’t get a lot of sleep and can’t remmeber a lot, just that it was a lot of work …

After that there was the preparation for two colleagues to go to the states to do a moving of all the equipment of a client – it was full with problems… I can probably add something more, put almost all is foggy :)

Friday followed, I had taken a day off to deal with openfest (it was a cold and windy day). Thursday I had gone once to the roof of the University Rectorate to take some pictures to show them to Mishinev and see if we could mount the antenna there, but being talented as me I managed to delete them, so Friday we both climbed again there and he concluded that it was not usable…
(short side note – the whole day was cold and windy. And the wind on the roofs is a different one…)
(the main acting persons in all this were me, Mishinev, Stefan Lekov and Vesselin Kolev)

We went to the Military club, where it turned out that we can see the tower of the Chemical Faculty, so we went to the local tower and mounted the antenna on a good pipe (the main part of the montage was done by Mishinev as the wind would have hard time blowing him away :) ). We then went downstairs and found out that the cable wasn’t crimped well, so I went up and recrimped it, after which the port lit up and we went to the Chemical Faculty…

On the tower there the wind was stronger and it was later – so the temperature was lower. Followed some exercises in crimping a cable on the light of a laptop, mounting an antenna in the wind, getting up at the upper tower to see if that would be a better place (there the wind was the strongest), finding where to point it, etc…
(and of course none of us is an Eskimo, we all had a rough week and Mishinev was a bit hung over from last night).

So in the end we got ping and we all went to Krivoto, where there were tables reserved (for not enough people, so we tormented some people around)…
