Easter-related

by Vasil Kolev

It’s not too good for me to stay up so late :)

I want just to mention one phone conversation of a colleague (he can tell who he is, if he wants – I know he’s reading this :):

other side> Will you be going to church?
colleague> Why, what I’m going to do there?
other site> Well, you can lit a candle for example.
colleague> I’m not playing it so small – I don’t light candles, I light churches …
(in Bulgarian “light” is more like “set on fire”)

My opinion remains that this kind of holidays – Easter, Christmas, etc. – are only useful because I can get some more sleep (or to do some other work :) ), and I’ve learned to stay away from the normal celebrations… I understand their idea, but I don’t feel like it’s applicable to me.

If someday I start making a religion, the holidays will be celebrated by everyone as doing as they want without interfering with the rest that don’t want to celebrate in their specific way.

(the Xvideo support in Xgl is fixed, great :) )
