(recordings of the netsec lecture Thursday (VPNs) – part 1 and part 2)

In the last two days I caught up with the reading, yesterday and today I read “The helmet of horror” by Pelevin, “Lord of the flies”, “Hannibal Rising” by Thomas Harris and reread the stuff of Simon Travaglia out of the BOFH cycle.
(I read Pelevin while sitting at Slavejkov. Incredible as ever. And at his homepage it’s till written by the designer “Vitya, call at last to make your web page, the people are waiting and nothing happens”.)

Now I’m trying to chew through “Interace” by Neal Stephenson and Frederik George (not really good) after finishing “The Big U” by Stephenson (I don’t get it why he’s so disappointed by the book, it’s nice to read although not on the same level as his other stuff).
