Today I went to see the oculist, after breakfast (with desync and few more people, paunch soup, as usual), and the medical woman (mmm cute doctoress… the spring has hit me really hard in the head) prescribed me some eye drop, and some lubricant eye drops (fake tears :) ), which should solve my problem with the itching in my eyes, and the desire to rip them out from time to time…

After that I went with the roommates to look for a costume for the ball for the brother of the roommate, and I bought some books from Slaveykov. After that I found out that I’ve spent my daily limit about two times, for the eye drops and the books, and had to visit a near ATM :) But I’ll have what to read, a new book by Gordon Dickson was published, and I also bought “Caroline” by Neal Gaiman, and one somewhat obscure book by Arkady Strugatski.

On the way home I called chervarium and took him to the same oculist, to see that his eyes are in really bad shape (3 diopters on the one eye, 4.5 on the another), and that he has developed an astigmatism. Soon he’ll get new glasses, and will stop to look stare strangely at the people at the table… :)

I’ve seriously decided to move, and in the moment I’m researching what will I need for the moving itself, especially for the books, the bookcase, and the machinery – there are a lot of other things to do, and I don’t want them to overlap, I like working under pressure, but everything has it’s limits :)

I’m thinking to go to IBB today ,I have to talk with Salle about mysql a bit, I have some questions, and I want to be clear on ‘can that database be used for serious work’ …
