The vacation leads to some interesting things…

Yesterday I took my monitor from the repair shop, decided to run both of them on dual-head and found out that my video card (radeon 9200) just can’t handle them, at one of the outputs the monitor flickers (and I did all the possible tweaking, including the ‘reduced blanking’ stuff). Because of this I’m looking for an AGP card with any nvidia chipset, let’s see if I’ll find one at the shops (I’m not buying ATI any more, they have horrible cards and even more horrible drivers, at least the nvidia ones work).

I removed theregister and slashdot from swamp.ludost, they were mostly drowning the other stuff. I shouldn’t mix such noise-ridden sources with the other stuff I read.

This morning I finally was able to wake up at a useful time and to go to the Mensa IQ test. The test itself was 45 questions for 20 minutes. My result is 122 (82% answered questions), the conclusions are:
1) The morning is not my best period;
2) I’ve forgotten how to do a test and to keep track of my time (I had 7 unaswered questions and seems I did a mistake on the last);
3) I have a document which shows that I’m stupid – perfect excuse when some people are giving me too much work.

(Elen gave me a great idea for a stamp on a t-shirt, I’ll probably go print it in the next few days)
