Last night I did tests with Velin’s audio system and with my external sound card (Creative Xmod) and got to the following conclusions:

1) The system has real volume of the sound (which was known);
2) My external sound card pushes out 5-10% lower signal volume than Velin’s CD player;
3) The amplification of the different bands is not equal, at least when listening to it (e.g. most thing that have a more serious bass section don’t don’t too good under 80%), e.g. the volume of the lower frequencies is lost at lower amplifications.

The last might be because of my skewed perception from listening to music with too much bass …
