by Vasil KolevAlthough it shouldn’t be done like this, in the middle of the night I moved one of the vhosts on marla from apache2 to thttpd. In conclusion:
1) apache2 sucks for serving big files.
2) 64bit architecture is something lovely, VSIZE of the process is about 7G and it doesn’t care.
3) thttpd is nice
4) there’s some ugly case with apache, big files, I/O and the scheduler.
My Openfest presentation is almost ready, it passed through Georgi Chorbadzhiyski, two people remain… I’ll suck again this year.
