Someday the laziness will finish me.

In the morning I went with Velin to have breakfast, and because the pub we were headed to was closed, we went to another one, neat the water tower (which, according to Velin is the perfect place to use as a NOC, but doesn’t conform to a lot of requirements). He climbed the hill with me heroically (and kept grumbling all the way :) )

I was able to finish the server in the morning, before breakfast, restarted it to see if all will start properly, and it didn’t came up – that’s why I hate working with machines that some one configured before me and didn’t properly test… Tomorrow the support there will take a look at it, and will probably fix it (I guess it’s lack of reiserfs support in the kernel, a ctrl-D will help it finish booting, and I’ll login to fix it). Everything else is ready…

I read “The stone” by Adam Roberts. An interesting book, with a good idea, ruined a little by the way of describing things, but worth reading. Next is a short story by Ivan Popov in “Terra Fantastica” that Velin keeps recommending me in the last 2 days…

I felt sleepy all the afternoon, and before going out to see Boyan, I took a look at the mirror and found out that looking at me, someone can draw a picture titled “Tired chilly underslept system administrator”…

We gathered in “Toronto” – me, Boyan, Marieta, Tony, and then came Bobme, Lora, Albert, Velin and Delian, and we talked about stuff until the people there came and tactfully gave us the bill :) Boyan is leaving tomorrow, I should’ve asked him when is he coming back… Interesting, we spoke very little about something work-related, there was just one thing about a problem with marla’s international link.

I should’ve seen what kind of phone had Delian, to know what not to buy, except if I want a flashlight… He showed how much light it produced, you can see your way in a dark place :)
