by Vasil KolevThe day passed mostly in things connected with the final variant of the questions for the Network Security test. It turned out that we didn’t have questions about XSS, and had to make some on the fly, and also there were some questions that were dropped, because were too ugly to be given to the students (but if I have to make a test about C and such things in general, I’ll probably ask desync for permission to use them :) ). Tomorrow I’ll have the generated tests, and there will be a long printing, after which the test itself will follow.
(it should be interesting to calculate how much time one test does take for all of us, it should be at least 50 hours)
The other thing today was, that I flamed some people in two forums, in those of the Network Security course, and in FMI’s forum, because of somewhat similar reasons. I really hate people that only whine, and do nothing. Yes, some critique can be helpful, but only if it’s saying something new, and we already know that, and are working on it, and all the nagging doesn’t help.
(that’s what I call luser mentality)
Today I dist-upgrade-d at last my machine (I haven’t done that in a month), and almost nothing broke (only gtk forgot it’s theme (gtk2 didn’t), something whined about the keyboard config, and got fixed, and the font in the icewm theme changed, and I’m too lazy to fix it… And, AGAIN /etc/rcS.d/SXXlvm2 disappeared. IO still haven’t tracked this one…). It wasn’t even interesting :) I wonder if I should use some stuff from experimental.
