The second network security test passed. It was definitely harder than the first one, and the median result will probably be around 22, I’m too lazy to calculate it now, I’ll see it when Zhoro puts them in the database…

We again graded them there, me, Zhoro and chervaruim, it took about half an hours – there were about 78 tests, and about 10-15 from the first test that did it this time. The test itself went okay, just one girl felt really sick in the beginning, and left, after which her boyfriend left to see what was with her… At first I got worried that the test was too scary… :)

At thursday we’ll be getting the term papers from the students, to see what they’ve done… I already read one of those, and it was bad, I gave him 20 points, despite chervarium’s intentions to give him even less.

After the grading we went again in “Toronto”, ate, and discussed all kinds of interesting things, like methods for cheating casinos, and documents that are based on a simple digital signature, and don’t need a central database. This idea was given to me by Peio, and we discussed how those documents can be truly authoritative, e.g. will they need some kind of biometric data in them, etc.
It’s definitely a question that needs more talking :)

I’ve put myself a deadline for one of the projects that I have to do – if tomorrow I don’t start working seriously on it, and I miss the will to do, I’ll send them whatever I’ve written, and tell that I won’t be able to finish it. Some things just don’t work out, and I don’t really want to lie to the people that I’ll be able to do it…
