(there’s an addition to shame.ludost.net).

Today I did some tests on the heating at home, because I decided that freezing isn’t a good way to spend the day. Now it’s better, but I’ll have to do some more experiments, and will probably need some electronic control, to make it warm up the place before I wake up.

My two primary jobs today were to configure a logcheck on marla, and to install a server for a guy, with some standard things – mail, web, etc (there will be java and tomcat on the machine also, but he wants to install them himself. What you do to yourself, even I can’t do…). This server reminded me that I’ve fallen of of habit – I did it in a normal time, but it was a bit weird… I should play a bit to install a server directly from unstable, a lot of things are changed (most of my installations up until now were from stable, and then dist-upgrade if needed). I might try something else for a change, like netbsd.

There aren’t any news from the audit, which means, that there aren’t any problems yet. I feel a bit bad, I should’ve left something small, like a fake shell on some port, for the auditor to have something to do…
