by Vasil KolevToday I brought my glasses for maintenance (again), the frame got broken, I hope they solder it well. After walking a bit without them I got a horrible headache, it’s maybe related to the sun that was (right on Murphy’s law) mostly shining directly into my eyes.
I bought a few books on Slaveykov, among which was “Dude, where’s my country”, let’s see what’s it like, and if it really has all the facts and the sources described.
I’ve upgraded the wordpress to 1.2 on my blog and shame.ludost, and was able easily to port my patches for multiple languages support. One day I’ll put them in some useful way, and will send them to the developers (but not just yet, I still don’t like php…). I did it mostly because of the spam, which was flowing into the comments, and was unable to see, because spamassassin was marking the mails from the blog as (hat a surprise) spam…
(and now the filter has missed something in shame.ludost, I’ll have to play a bit with it)
There is something bad coming up around Sciforge and OpenFMI, which I’m not really clear about, but I have the feeling that some people think of me as some kind of a traitor. Today I had about a hour talk with Velin about it, and I might have some idea… I was thinking about saying some really harsh words on the topic, but I’ll wait a bit more, to see what’s really happening.
Today the netsec lecture was about VPNs, and it will be finished next time, and there will be demonstration on some attacks over ethernet. I took Pentchev’s book (“Azazel”), and then forgot it in LabIO, so on the way home he came home for a bit, to get something to read, and stayed a bit, to discuss some interesting problem with Velin.
