Sunday like every other, laziness all around.

In the evening I went to “Bulgara” concert in “Swinging hall”, with Lora and Fozzie. They played magnificently – I can’t remember listening to a group that plays so well live, and I’ll definitely go to listen to them next time (IIRC 27.02, again there). Soon they’ll be releasing their first album.
Some words about them – they play on a bagpipe, gadulka, tapan, drums, bass, tambura, and kaval, and add something from time to time (may be they need a keyboardist?). They play a mix of bulgarian folklore, jazz, some rock (but not too heavy), and some other etno-borrows (like flamenco, mixed with the other stuff).

And “Balkanji” will be playing in o!Shipka on 6.02. I’ll go there with Lora and Fozzie (and maybe Velin?:) ), to give them a chance to see this kind of a live performance :)

In the last few days I listened to the last Apolcayptica album, and I’m somewhat disappointed – the sound that cut and passed through your body is missing, it seems somewhat flat. Looks like “Cult” was their best album.
