I’m really absent-minded these days, in the end I’ll find some kind of external and easily-accessible memory (like a secretary)… Turns out that che groupware calendar works pretty well for the moment.

Because some people were interested, I re-encoded the lecture from 7.03 and uploaded it in the place of the old one, now the quality is a lot better.

Have I mentioned how much do I hate ffmpeg and ffserver? Today we made an experiment to run live video from the French Culture Center, and there was again a problem – ffserver decided to do weird stuff. I have no idea where is the problem, I just see it mmap-ing as hell when the first viewer connects. If I have to, I can do the stuff with the “stable” (ha ha ha, who are they kidding?) ffmpeg, but it doesn’t have the stable codecs…
I don’t feel like debugging tonight, I’m going to sleep and swear at it while sleeping.
