Quiet day… I wrote the final version of the position of the people teaching the Network Security course about the ideas/visions for the migration of the Sofia University to exclusively Microsoft software (it can be seen here , UTF8, unix text format), we jsut have to discuss it a bit, before sending it into the Computing center, and wherever is needed. There is something really dirty going in there, and I hope that we’ll be able to stop it, I don’t want think about FMI as a place where you can’t learn anything…. The fact, that after this got published, and was heard by some people, the site went down, and that’s why I put an archival copy of it here

Today’s CMSes have become really easy to setup and run, today I played with Mambo, for a site of a small firm, and I think, that even an average plant could handle the installation and the interface :) The bad thing is that the connection to the machine where I was setting this up died while I was installing it, and looks like I’ll be finishing it tomorrow. There isn’t a lot to finish, except the installation of a gallery module, and a little touching the looks of the main page (I could translate it, too, but we’ll see :) ).

Waking up with paunch soup (that sounds awful in English, it’s ‘shkembe chorba’) is something great…Waking, refreshing, and a good way to repel some people :)

(in the moment I’m reading 2 books in parallel (e.g. rereading them) , “Heaven’s reach” by David Brin, and the memories of Saharov… I could start another one, after reading the 2 new books last night :) )
