A really hard day… First I was a victim of the discrimination – turns out that there are an order of magnitude more shops for women clothes than for men – there weren’t any good pants anywhere, thankfully Undertake told me about “Na tumno” (“In the dark”) – turns out that they have the perfect clothes for the ones like me, in good colors (black and green), with enough pockets, and strong.

The core thing today was working on the project – we were starting the routers, and there was some fighting with carp and pf (a perverted OpenBSD thing, but there isn’t a pfsync equivalent for Linux that I know of…). We had reached the moment when we were looking at the rules, and wondering where exactly was the problem, in the end we put a pass on everything nat/rdr, and it worked. Another fun moment was that we needed to make some changes in the network topology there, to move a few servers in another vlan, and to reconfigure them… We had planned 2 hours, but they were really 4-5, hopefully tomorrow no one will wake us up to fix something.
