by Vasil KolevToday was longer than usual…
I overslept a bit (woke around 0930), and went to get breakfast with flipflop and Niki. The weather has became nice enough that you can eat outside, there’s no wind, and it’s even sunny :) I picked a lot of tasks to do (again), at home there were some more (one of those is waiting for me even right now…), and just like Murphy’s law states, something personal/family came… not exactly a problem, but a side effect from existing one, and killed all my abilities to work and/or think…
(and I really wanted to write a mail to someone special, but was able to do after I came back from the lecture, and (although I really can’t judge now :) ) it wasn’t good enough…)
I decided to do something useful, and went to Evrokom to cancel my old contract, which was really easy, and showed me how easy I can stop the access of any of their users, I just need to know his username, and sign as him/her (come on, people, at least ask me for some id). Then I went to Slaveykov, and found that “American Gods” by Neal Gaiman was translated in bulgarian and bought a copy. I intend to read it tomorrow, it has a really good reputation…
I also got myself a very simple digital camera, 2.3 megapixels (3.3 with interpolation, but that doesn’t count), and make some pictures, 2 of which are good, and I’ve put them athttps://vasil.ludost.net/pics/ – I took pictures of my room, I have such habbit… This time it’s even a bit tidy :) (ok, I admin, i cleaned a bit before taking the pictures :) )
That was followed by the Network Security lecture, today the lecturers were EXo and Marin, and they made quite a show, but I was so beaten, that I even didn’t get some of the things they explained. They were really something, like the moment when (because EXo was unable to write an ampersand (&)), Marin wrote a big one on the board, just to show him how it’s done (interesting, Georgi Chorbadzhiyski can’t write one either, if the 3rd George has the same problem, then we’ll be telling everyone that’s because of the name :) )
(and I’m not mentioning all the other (in some moments somewhat sick) jokes :) )
Enough for today… I have 666 messages in linux-kernel, 129 in full-disclosure, 74 in nanog, and tomorrow there will probably be 100 more, but I’ll read them then, right now I probably won’t understand anything.
