After that for half a hour I kept asking the girlfriend what had I done to her, to do this to me… We were there for just half an hour, through which I drank rakiya (there wasn’t any beer, and the rest was gin and vodka), through the whole time we listened to chalga, and the only time Cherno fereje played it was called ‘crap’ (I almost fell laughing). It was too much – I’ve also became some kind of audiophile and it was hard to me to survive half of the things that were totally bad and the rest, which had some small idea in them.
(I really don’t get how they make such crappy music with such musicians (and whatever you thing, the players in most chalga orchestras are really good))
Today was also a day for some preparations for the hack contest, Thursday and Friday will be the hard work on making machines (I’ll have to take two days off, I’ll have to make up at work), systems, etc, and Sunday is the competition itself. I think we’ll make it better this year.
