In the end I decided to go through his site, his program, etc., the elections are near, and maybe it’s time for me to vote once…

To start with, the guy has vision and the somewhat good PR team shows. His writings are somewhat cloudy, which I’m inclined to attribute this to the fact that he’s a politician – but just some of his promises sound cloudy (but his others are clear and specific, not like most other politicians :) ).

I liked his problem – I saw nothing stupid or something at all that annoys me. But reading it I stated thinking – is this the program for Sofia, or for fixing the whole country, and damn, how is this going to be done for 4 years? Especially the technical part for the transparency, information in Internet, etc. a lot of work will be required by some really talented people to dig deeply into this for a long time and to have the full cooperation of the clerks and officials there (and this to me seems EXTREMELY hard). Not to mention the online communication with the other parts of the state administration, the mess there is hard to describe…

So, good ideas, good start, but being paranoid I don’t think he’ll succeed. If this with some extensions was his program for the parliamentary elections, it would sound a bit more real, but for a lot of stuff he’s dependent on structures outside of his control, which are also known for their inability to do anything useful.

And not to forget that these are only promises. Can he show a CV with what has he done until now?:) His introduction in his blog is bot bad, but a bit lacking in details.

And for the other candidates for mayors there’s nothing I can say (like about the dead, either good or nothing, so nothing).
