Awry thoughts
by Vasil KolevMaybe I shouldn’t read Ayn Rand in the evening. The combination of philosophy, flat characters that you feel like beating with the shovel and some really annoying situations really strains my nerves…
I have no idea how many of you are acquainted with Ayn Rand’s writings (or with the “Sword of Truth” (especially the book “The Faith of the Fallen”), the philosophy there is taken from her), if you’re interested you can read the entries in Wikipedia on objectivism and on “The Fountainhead”.
So I’m reading and thinking on whoa would she write now, and start to remember how much I’m angered by the kind of people she’s describing as negative characters, who in these days have somewhat different outlook… People with no meaning, with no goals in life and idea what to do. People who don’t carry the reposibility for that they’ve said they’ll do, for whom the work is something that they do in between. People, who think that workaholics and people who like their job in general are idiots – “Why are you straining yourself, you know that everything will work if you aren’t there”. What the hell, if everything will work and it will never be felt if I’m not there, then what the hell am I doing there? Mooching one salary and moving my dick between the trouser legs (which seems to be the dream of 95% of the people in this country)?
No. I’m not going to pursue the “Bulgarian dream”, not I’m going to let such creatures poison my life. The ugliest thing that some people can to do me is to prevent me from doing my job and words can’t describe how much I hate these. Probably the hardest thing I’ve learned in my life was to be able to talk to this kind of people to do something and not to create more problems for the whole work…
I don’t like people. I like the serious persons and individuals, but they seem to be lacking these days… And for some reason most people think of me as a nice guy, etc., even though I don’t hive how much they annoy me.
(which is somewhat the reason to write on the topic of politicians in my blog, as I aslo really hate people who don’t do their job).
