The worst kind of DoS is to have your electricity cut. At the project this is happening for the third or forth day in a row… We still haven’t finished the defense for such attacks, we haven’t found a good generator…

Today I got my glasses back, and the world is again visible.

The netsec lecture went well – for two hours we showed the different attacks, as we did last wear in the rectorate, without any serious problems (although we’ve forgotten the presentation, and reordered some stuff). We used directly last year’s test network topology, with the addition of Zhoro’s laptop, which he used to view the presentation in front of him, and this time the talking was mostly by Zhoro and Niki, i felt a bit powerless.

I’m totally burned out, today I managed to read my mail (there were ~1000 in lkml, ~120 in NANOG, etc.), and then tried to read a article that I saw in slashdot, and at the third paragraph I found out that I just don’t get it. I’ve started reading out of habit … I’m thinking about clearing my head with a lot of drinking…
