A really fun morning… Spas told me that he had redirected lug-bg not to be sent out by marla, because of some bounces, according to which I was in some DNSbl. A investigation followed (many thanks to Plamen Tonev for the help), which showed that the domain of the v6net blacklist had expired, somebody bought it, and started answering all dns requests with it’s ip, which was thought by some softwares who look only if there is a reply, not what it is, to be “the whole internet is a spamer”.

Of the machines that marla communicates with, only a few were bouncing – mail.bg (directly with 5xx, so whatever was sent to them, is lost. Their minds are lost somewhere, too), some of SpNet’s MXes, and fadata (who are already ok). I told the problem to them, and now I’m waiting to see what happens.

This was like a perfect gift in the morning – today I became 24 :) It’s practically not my holiday today, but my mother’s, who had carried me for 9 (in fact, according to official data – 8) months, and after that 24 years endured me :) It wasn’t a coincidence that on the last birthday that I celebrated, she got an applause, when I presented her to the guests :)

p.s. a pledge to everybody – if you have some spam in maildir format, please send an archive to me, I have a bayesian filter to train.
