It was a hard day…

In the morning I was able to get up at 11, wrote a lot of mail, prepared the shipping of the UPS for zver.fsa, went to Zhoro’s office to get money to pay it, and was able to quickly walk to FMI on time for the writing of th grades (there’s something wrong with me, this walk really tired me). Followed 4 hours of writing (I’ll probably be writing “Network security” on the bedsheets in my sleep), examining of some people, and the grading of another course paper. Either I was somewhat in a bad mood, or the people there had gotten too absorbed in other exams, because only one student was able to raise her grade….
It helped a lot that I kept listening to different variations of Ytsejam by Dream Theater while doing all this.
There was one really fun case, one student that came to get his grade written for the course that was two years ago…
The last two students (the ones with the course paper in the last possible moment) gave me 5 beers (they probably expected some more people), to be noted – after the writing of the grades :) Because I’m not really able to drink them all, I left 4 of them at LabIO, after the carrying and the installation of the UPS (who was just delivered).

IBB followed, where we were going to discuss the first lecture in TU, but decided to leave it for the mailing list. Yovko gave me another processor and a GB of RAM for zver.fsa (this is a real processor, you can beat someone with it), and I have to think of a time to install it (probably after I’m done with the migration of the services to that machine).

And for the day to be complete – in the morning I read, that a vulnerability was found inSHA-1, so there’s the need for a new hashing algorithm.
